Due to the dedicated efforts of naturists, particularly Nudist Jeff, the previously unofficial clothing optional beach at Lights Beach in Denmark (WA) was formally designated as an Official Clothing Optional location in 2024.
Access to the designated area is available via the Lights Beach carpark with two approaches: visitors may descend the steps onto the main beach and proceed westward along the shore toward the rock outcrop, or follow the walking track from the carpark toward Williams Bay National Park for approximately 200 meters until reaching the steps leading down to the beach.
This addition expands the range of clothing optional sites accessible to naturists in Western Australia and was achieved through local initiatives without support from any national organizations purporting to represent the naturist community. The clothing optional area is clearly signposted.
